Well here we are on December 13th and I just received my 23rd Happy Christmas email .. since I am feeling a tad frustrated I thought I would pose a question .. do you think this helps with your customer relationship management strategy ?
Come on guys and gals .. what is going on ? The whole point of email is timely communication
Now I understand with the postal service getting clogged up in December and snail mail now destined to take 200 days to get to its destination (ok 2-5 days but who is counting) that you have to send your paper mail early but what is up with all these email holiday wishes starting the day after Thanksgiving (which is the closest Thursday to Nov 23rd for those not in the USA)
And if you think you are trying to hit Hanukkah then that isn’t till Dec 20th in 2011 (“first night” is Dec 8th in 2012 so mark your calendars you will be good to go)
I am probably dillusional (not to mention weird) and there are probably 20m people who love getting Christmas wishes on Dec 13th by email but I would [prefer to think the companies I do business with have enough sense and organizational alignment to send me my Christmas emails the week o
